LINKS AND FAVORITE ARTISTS/SERVICES
Some of my favorite photographers and their websites: John Shaw - One of the most articulate, clever, engaging photographers and teachers I've ever had the pleasure of learning from. If you get a chance to see a John Shaw talk or seminar or tour...I can only say GO! He is great, his advice is excellent, and he is a real-live human being! Robert Glenn Ketchum - Robert will stretch your vision with his capacity to truly see the land. His wilderness ethics are top notch. Highly recommended. Joe Englander - Joe worked with Ansel Adams for a number of years, and he is a real perfectionist. Many of his images will touch your heart, and his advice is excellent. He is a real thinker, and keeps ahead of the class. Art Wolfe - I've only seen Art give one lecture and presentation, but Art's imagery is stunning and breathtaking. He is a true explorer that will bring the beauty of the world to your eyes. His book, Edge of the Earth / Corner of the Sky is wonderful and not to be missed! David Stocklein - Wonderful use of light and sillouettes, running horses and splashing water, golden sun. His images practically capture the smell and the presence of the West! Visit his studio outside of Ketchum, Idaho to look at his prints first-hand. His images will speak to your outdoor soul!
